Between 31st of July and 6th of August, consortium of Step by Step project implemented short-term training event in Vecmuiza, Latvia.
The training was attended by a total of 26 participants from 5 participating countries with experience in non-formal education methods.
The training course was aimed at providing the involved professionals from partner organizations with competencies and methodologies for training teachers/mentors working in schools and VET with teaching tools for dyslexic youth participating in their programs.
The training was conducted by trainers with experience in Work Based Learning and implementation of programs based on the logical dual learning approach.

3rd Transnational Project Meeting
The 3rd Transnational Project Meeting of "Step by Step" Erasmus+ KA2, held by NGO Nest Berlin, realized on the 3rd of June 2022 in Berlin.Partners' representatives met together to discuss about the outcomes from C2 Joint Staff Meeting held by IPSA, the progress of the programme and to plan next mobility.
2nd Joint Staff Training Event
The second Joint Staff Training Event in the frame of the "Step by Step" project, took place in Larissa, Greece from the 16th May 2022 up to the 20th May 2022. The meeting was organized and hosted by Institute of Psychosocial Development (IPSA), which partipicipates as a partner organization in the project. The social dimensions and the discriminations that Learning Disabilities could emerge in a Workplace were introduced to educators and tutors from Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Italy and Greece. In the context of training visits to Special Vocational High School and a Social Cooperative Enterprise the participants had the opportunity for discussion with the educators of the school and the president of the Enterprise. The patricipants came acrcross the difficulties and the obstacles that both educators and young adults meet and have to overcome during the training proccess (e.g no existance of non-typical books or tools for teaching & learning) but also with cases from the Social Enterprise, which's members managed to integrate in workplace. In this direction and according to this approach the participants exchanged their experiences and practices in the vocational education topic and the context of non-typical education in Greece. They shared their thoughts and propositions in order to succesfully reproduce a supporting system for educators and teachers that will motivate students affected by learning difficulties and speech difficulties to overcome learning obstacles through the sequence of activities of the method "Learning in a Workplace".
